$200 Challenge

Okay so we love teens!  And we want to see them fall in love with Jesus in the worst possible way.  We’ll to ANYTHING it takes to make this happen.  So I am personally issuing a $200 challenge to all students who are faithful to Christ and their part in this community throughout the summer.  Any student who follows through will qualify to win $200 in our drawing the end of August!

Kickball Tournament

Maximum Impact Student Ministries will have a kickball tournament July 15.  We are asking for students to form teams of 10 and compete for bragging rights as well as the coveted Kickball Trophy!!!  If your son/daughter is NOT drafted by a team contact Dawn Maglish @ 765-894-0697 at least a week before the event and we’ll put them on one!!!  It’s gonna be a great night!  You can find more information on the church web site.

Talent Show

June 24 we will be having a Maximum Impact Talent Show to showcase all of our students serious, and not so serious, talents.  Parents/families are welcome to join us on this night.  There will be food as well.  Cost is $1/person with all proceeds going to CIY and the mission trip.

We have one huge need for the night – People to bring snacks and desserts.  If you can help please respond to this or call Dawn Maglish @ (765)894-0697.

Spring Banquet a Success!!!

May 17th we had our first ever Maximum Impact Spring Banquet.  165 people bought tickets and experienced a wonderful evening.  Michelle Edmonds graciously gave of her time and energy to MC the event.  All students going on summer trips went up to the stage and Mark Post prayed for them.  There was a special “memories” video of the graduating class of 2009, then Marty Tadman gave the commissioning message to the class of 09.  All the graduates received their final “Thank you” for allowing us (everyone at ECC) to invest in their lives and teach them about Jesus, and “goodbye”.  They were all given a certificate and gifts.  At this point they received a standing ovation!  It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to having this every year!!!  Congratulations class of 09!

D-Group update

D-Groups are same sex Bible Study/accountability groups for those who are committed followers of Jesus, looking for a deeper level relationship with God and others.  We encourage all teens to join a D-Group upon accepting Christ as their Savior.  We are excited to see your teen get deeper with God and deeper with others!  For more information on these D-Groups contact Mike Maglish.
