This blog is designed to be a RESOURCE for parents and a place they can come together, with youth leaders, to work together in an effort to provide the scaffolding our students need to have a vibrant relationship with Jesus in such a wild and crazy world!  The goal is to keep this blog updated with new resources, parenting issues, calendar stuff, events, ministry plans, etc.  We will, also, do our very best to keep it current and up to date.  Your feedback is super important in this task.  We want this to be a discussion, so please respond and join in on the discussion.  Everyone’s ideas and thoughts are highly valued.  But, if nothing else, this blog can be used as an informational tool to keep you abreast with what we are trying to do through the high school ministry here at Eagle Christian Church.  It is a tool that will be in place along side our new web site that is up and coming.  I also think it’s important to note that we intend to discuss items of concern as well.  If we see a trend that is disturbing, or if we see something that is praiseworthy, we will start the conversation.  If you would like to add something to this blog, whether it be a parenting issue or other, please let me know.  If not, please don’t be afraid to make comments on posts that have already been made.  Finally, please know all comments will be veiwed before posted.  Every comment will be read by me, and approved, before being posted.  If it is negative or attacking, if it is not in the heart of Christ, it will not be posted. 

I am so excited about what God will do through this blog.  Let’s continue to add to the list of people receiving this blog.  All I need is an email address.  Likewise, if you students graduates, or if you simply do not want to be on the list, please let me know that as well.  mikem@eaglechristianchurch.com
